Hello!
My name is Rachel Gabrielse. Well, it used to be. On June 20, 2015 I married my high school sweetheart in the middle of the woods with picnic tables and ice cream and almost 200 of our favorite humans. So now, I am Rachel Ponstein. But my photography is a special place I get to hold onto my maiden name.
I am 29 years old and still love juice and soft serve vanilla ice cream cones. I’ll let you decide if the juice box I carry in my purse is for myself or my son. It took me having two kids to finally start enjoying coffee (and it still needs a good dose of creamer). Semi sweet chocolate chips are my editing fuel. I am an enneagram 9 w 1 who shops nearly exclusively at H&M and will take any excuse to travel the world. My husband is an insanely handsome and optimistic man who teaches middle school math and science. Our son Zion and our daughter Roman have their Daddy’s blue eyes and are the joys of our lives.
You should probably know that I refer to God as Papa. For most of my life I thought I had to earn my worth. It was an exhausting existence until I met this Jesus who whispered that he loved me for who I was and not what I did. Now Papa is the way I refer to my best friend who gently sings over me and holds me in his mighty arms.
