A Mackinac Island Welcome Party

The celebration began with guests taking the ferry from the mainland to Mackinac Island, where they attended a welcome party at the Iroquois Hotel. Surrounded by Victorian architecture and lake breezes, anticipation built as the wedding day approached.

Getting Ready at The Inn at Stonecliffe

The wedding morning arrived with sunshine and a gentle breeze—perfect conditions for a summer wedding on Mackinac Island. Quincey and her sister got ready in the bridal suite at The Inn at Stonecliffe, overlooking the ceremony lawn below.

Pink stripes became a recurring design element throughout the day. This design echoed the venue’s colorful umbrellas and paired beautifully with soft butter yellow accents for a playful yet elegant palette.

Quincey’s wedding dress featured a statement bow, blending modern sophistication with timeless design. For the ceremony and cocktail hour, Quincey styled her gown with a long-sleeve lace overlay that added a regal feel. A butter yellow bridesmaid dress and soft pink and yellow pastel florals completed the look.

Vis-à-Vis Ride Around Mackinac Island

Following a private first look in the orchard at The Inn at Stonecliffe, Quincey and Chandler embarked on a two-hour Vis-à-Vis carriage ride around Mackinac Island. Their portraits spanned some of the island’s most iconic locations, including a lighthouse overlook, The Grand Hotel’s secret gardens, a downtown storefront overflowing with hydrangeas, and the docks of the Mackinac Island Yacht Club.

As they rode through downtown Mackinac Island, cheers from passersby turned the experience into a once-in-a-lifetime moment—celebrating the couple like island royalty.

Ceremony with Views of the Straits of Mackinac

Guests arrived via horse-drawn taxis and were welcomed by the elegance and charm of The Inn at Stonecliffe. With a summer formal dress code, the fashion was vibrant, colorful, and impeccably styled.

Following the ceremony, guests gathered at the front of the mansion for a joyful exit featuring bell and ribbon wands.
