The Grand Hotel

Bay View at Gallager Farms

Spanning 400 acres just minutes from downtown Traverse City, this breathtaking estate offers a serene countryside setting defined by rolling hills, vineyards, and cherry orchards.

The venue can accommodate up to 240 guests and features a spacious on-site tent ideal for both receptions and covered ceremonies. Couples may also choose to exchange vows at the Bay View Hilltop, located near the tent, or at the elevated Overlook site, which features clean, modern railings designed to keep panoramic views completely unobstructed. While the Overlook is slightly farther from the main event space, guest transportation is included, ensuring a seamless experience.

Additional amenities include a restroom trailer, dance floor, catering tent, and two golf carts, making outdoor weddings comfortable and well-supported. An on-site distillery adds a distinctive local touch, offering couples and guests a true taste of Northern Michigan.

Charlevoix Yacht Club

The Charlevoix Yacht Club offers a stunning waterfront wedding venue in Northern Michigan. This modern yet elegant venue combines a relaxed marina atmosphere with refined design, making it a beautiful choice for couples seeking a lakeside celebration.

The spacious event hall can accommodate up to 150 guests and features large glass doors that fold open, creating a seamless open-air indoor-outdoor experience with uninterrupted lake views. Wedding ceremonies can be hosted on the 80-foot-long covered porch, framed by classic white pillars, or on the side lawn facing the marina, offering picturesque views of sailboats and the harbor. Unlike many yacht clubs, membership is not required to host a wedding here, making it a more accessible option among Charlevoix wedding venues.

Aurora Cellas

This boutique winery wedding venue in Lake Leelanau offers a truly enchanting setting for couples seeking both nature and romance. At the heart of Aurora Cellars is a majestic 60-year-old willow tree, affectionately known as “Winslow”. Couples can exchange vows beneath this naturally dramatic canopy.

Just steps from the ceremony site, a 40’ x 80’ high-peaked, heated marquee tent with concrete flooring provides a comfortable and elegant space for dinner and dancing. Surrounded by vineyard rows and mature walnut trees, the open-air setting feels both refined and relaxed.

Booking this Lake Leelanau estate includes exclusive weekend access (Friday through Sunday) to the on-site Victorian Farmhouse. This allows couples and their closest guests to fully settle in and enjoy an immersive wedding experience.

Castle Farms

Built in 1918 and inspired by the grandeur of French castles, Castle Farms in Charlevoix, Michigan offers a true fairytale setting for couples dreaming of a grand wedding day.

Castle Farms features an impressive variety of ceremony and reception spaces, from lush, manicured gardens to dramatic stone ballrooms with soaring ceilings and European-inspired architecture. Many of the venue’s spaces can comfortably accommodate 300+ guests, making it an exceptional option for large celebrations.

Watervale Inn

Located along the shores of Lower Herring Lake, The Watervale Inn offers the charm of a classic summer resort. This venue delivers a relaxed yet refined wedding experience that feels both intimate and elevated.

The Inn only hosts weddings on four weekends each year—the two weekends following Memorial Day and Labor Day. Reserving the Inn includes exclusive use of the property, allowing couples and their guests full access to the resort’s facilities for an unforgettable wedding weekend.

The scenic Lakeside Terrace, overlooking Lower Herring Lake, can accommodate up to 140 guests and provides a beautiful outdoor setting for ceremonies or receptions. For inclement weather, the Casino Room offers a charming and reliable indoor alternative. Receptions are typically hosted inside The Inn, while guests are accommodated in 14 vintage guest cottages, creating a private and nostalgic resort atmosphere.

The Island House

The Island House Hotel on Mackinac Island blends historic charm, breathtaking harbor views, and modern amenities. Located just outside of downtown, this idyllic estate offers a peaceful setting while remaining conveniently close to the island’s shops and attractions.

The elegant 1852 Grill Room features floor-to-ceiling windows with expansive views of the bay and can accommodate up to 120 guests.
