Coastal Chic Être Farms Wedding | St. Joseph, Michigan

Etre Farms in St. Joseph, Michigan set the scene for Max and Tori’s unforgettable summer celebration. With soft blue details, heartfelt moments, and thoughtful design, their wedding day perfectly blended elevated coastal style with meaningful personal touches.

Getting Ready at Etre Farms

The day began with beautifully styled flat lays featuring blue bow Anthropologie heels, monogrammed matchboxes, and custom golf balls. Primp Beauty provided a luxury beauty experience. Tori got ready surrounded by her mom and sisters, who helped her into her timeless strapless Bella Bianca wedding gown. Meanwhile, Max prepared nearby wearing a navy State and Liberty suit paired with a light blue bow tie.

Portraits, A First Touch & Private Vows

We took advantage of the calm, unhurried timeline to capture ladies-only portraits with Tori and men-only portraits with Max. These moments were filled with genuine excitement, resulting in natural images that reflected the close friendships surrounding the couple.

Instead of a traditional first look, Max and Tori chose an intimate first touch. Standing back-to-back and holding hands, they read their personal vows to one another—a meaningful moment that allowed them to connect privately before the ceremony.

A Ceremony Filled With Heartfelt Details

The couple found beautiful ways to include the people closest to them. Six of Tori’s dear friends served as flower girls, each wearing varying hues of blue that complemented the color palette. A close friend officiated the ceremony, while another read scripture.

Their dog, Palmer, completely stole the show—walking down the aisle with Max, greeting guests along the way, and sitting proudly in the front row as a guest of honor. She even joined the couple for portraits after the ceremony.

The in-house coordinators and florists at Etre Farms flawlessly executed both the ceremony and reception design. White pillars adorned with cascading green amaranthus, white roses, and lush greenery framed the ceremony space and later surrounded the head table at the reception, creating a cohesive and elevated look. Despite the 90+ degree heat, soft cloud cover and thoughtfully provided folding fans kept guests comfortable during the outdoor ceremony.

Open-Air Cocktail Hour & Portraits

Following the recessional, Max and Tori shared sweet moments with guests, more portraits, and a private room reveal that left them speechless.

Etre Farms Wedding Reception Highlights

The evening kicked off with an energetic bridal party entrance and heartfelt speeches. After traditional first dances, Tori surprised her mom with a special mother-daughter dance to one of their favorite songs. Dinner was expertly catered by Etre Farms, followed by portraits around the venue grounds just before a summer storm rolled in.

Dancing, Dessert & a Perfect Ending

DJ Sevven kept the energy high all night on the iconic black-and-white checkered dance floor. Guests enjoyed espresso martinis throughout the evening, followed by late-night churros for an extra sweet treat.

The night ended with a private cake cutting featuring a stunning two-tier white cake by Slik Sweets, the perfect close to an elegant and joyful celebration.
