Chic Ivy House Wedding | Saugatuck, Michigan

A gentle snowfall blanketed the day as Tori and Dylan celebrated their late winter The Ivy House wedding in Saugatuck, Michigan. Set against the glass walls of the greenhouse and softened by falling snow, their wedding day felt intimate, modern, and effortlessly chic.

Black & White Wedding Style

In their invitation suite, Tori and Dylan requested that guests dress in black attire only, creating a striking contrast as the couple wore all white. Dylan wore an ivory suit jacket with black lapels and refined detailing, while Tori stunned in a long-sleeve, off-the-shoulder Spring Sweet by Sarah Seven wedding gown, accented with delicate pearls. The contrast was timeless and visually stunning.

Ivy House Greenhouse Ceremony

The ceremony took place inside The Ivy House greenhouse, where soft white draping, glowing candles, and lush white florals created a romantic winter atmosphere. Tori carried a dramatic all-white, orchid-filled bouquet designed by The Petal Co., serving as the perfect statement piece.

After the ceremony, we took family and couple portraits inside the greenhouse.

Black & White Reception Design

The black-and-white design continued seamlessly into the reception. Guests enjoyed a monochromatic dessert display, a statement arched welcome sign and seating chart, and thoughtfully styled table décor. Michigan Marquee Lights spelled out the couple’s new last name in glowing letters, framing the dance floor. Dinner by Gilmore Catering offered a delicious buffet for guests to enjoy.

Emotional Dances & Wedding Celebration

One of the most emotional moments of the evening came during the dances. Tori’s father—who had spent months in physical therapy—rose from his wheelchair to dance with his daughter. After the traditional first dances, Tori surprised three of her uncles by inviting each of them to share a moment on the dance floor. The room fell silent with emotion as her father stood, and again as each uncle joined her. There truly was not a dry eye in sight.

Ryan Henry Music kept the dance floor full all evening, while MoTown Productions captured every moment on video. The celebration concluded with late-night cheeseburgers and french fries. It was the perfect ending to a heartfelt wedding at The Ivy House in Saugatuck, Michigan.
